Hug-a-Bunny Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is a small nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in northern New Jersey that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes rabbits in need.
We started out by helping other volunteer organizations, but quickly realized that there were limited resources for rabbits in our area. We have been in operation since 2007. Since then, we have had over 350 adoptions!
Hug-a-Bunny Rabbit Rescue, Inc. does extensive volunteer work associated with our local animal shelters. Many rabbits are also let outdoors to fend for themselves and we try to rescue these rabbits before they die outdoors. We aim to educate the public about proper rabbit care and about what type of pets rabbits are. We do not adopt out our rabbits as gifts. Thanks for visiting our website and for your support!

This is Sunflower, a beautiful rabbit who was given up right after Easter. She went on to find a loving "forever home" and will always be part of the Hug-a-Bunny family! Sunflower passed away after many happy years in her loving home.
